Donna
and John Bruce opened Craft Renaissance, Gallery, Cafe and Workshops in March
2002. The centre is housed in a beautifully converted barn set amongst
picturesque countryside overlooking the renowned Usk valley.
The
Gallery has a welcoming atmosphere, and has been developed by Donna to present
an eclectic selection of work, of high quality contemporary and traditional
design. Many of the items are made in the workshops at the centre and by local
makers and artists.
The studio/workshops are occupied by jewellers, potters, woodworkers, a stain glass designer and a textilist. The workshops are open to the public at various times during the year and commissions are undertaken for unique and personal pieces.
