As
well as developing his own artistic style for exhibition work, he
also undertakes commissions of all kinds, working in both domestic
and commercial sectors.
He
is currently developing his abstract style of cross-processed
colour images alongside more nostalgic seascapes which constantly
draw him back to his Aberystwyth roots.
Mansel's
exhibition work usually takes the form of words & images
which combine to create greater understanding in the integrity of the work.

juxtaposition of words and images is intended to gain the
viewer's understanding on the first visit to the work, and thus
create an empathetic acknowledgement of my way of thinking."
